We also made the dresses for the bridemaids. I believe the maid of honor wore pale yellow, and the rest wore alight aqua. ii am posting a picture that has been water damaged, and I don't know how to fix it. I hope I can fix it later.
The picture is of my daughter Judy and my son who was about four years old. He was the ring bearer, (with fake rings) and coming down the aisle, he kept picking up the flowers that the flower was spreading out.
The fourth gown, we  made was for my sister Helen, and my favorite
The gown was made of all lace, had a scalloped neckline, long sleeves. buttoned down the back, flowing skirt with a small train. We also cut out all the roses from excess material and appliqued it around the neckline, the hem and train. We embellished the appliqued roses with small pearls and iridescent sequins.
The third gown we made was for my sister Eleanor, two years younger than me.  She had an all lace gown. It didn't need any embellishment, although we might have sewed a few small pearls, and irredescent sequins on.
The ssecond wedding gown< my sisters and I made for my sister in law Betty. She had a very pale pink taffeta covered with tulle, It had two panels of scollopped lace tha tran down the front and back of the gown, About 10 inches before the hem on the panels, their was gathered tulle. The top of the gown had lace with scalloping accros the top.  A different size of lace with scalloping was needed for the sleeves.
Bacl then, ( about 1956) you couldn't find the same lace in all three sizes, in Boston stores, and you had to order from New York. Now I am sure you can get them anywhere

Linus quilts

I am posting a few quilts I made for Linus Quilts for children in the hospitals. I am mostly using up excess material. Some of the colors are rather too bright, but I think children like bright colors. They may have to wear sunglasses with the green quillts I uploade two of the same quilts and don't know how to take the extra one out. Sorry about that.

More boat quilts

I had to make another quilt for a nephew. I made too many blocks so I made two of them. I am tired of making boat quilts, but add them to keep track of quilts made.
