3D Pin Wheel Quilt

I recently finished  a 3D Pin Wheel Quilt, that I donated to an organization that will be used as a fund raiser. I really like making the 3 D quilt, as it is a little different and a little more complicated.  It is put together in rows, so you don't see the pin wheels, till you join the rows together. If you make multi colored pin wheels, you really have to pay attention, in order that each color of the pin wheel get together.

I am going to post my favorite senior bear. He has just the right message on his shirt, and I love the song , he sings. Every time I hear it, it makes me think of my husband, and it makes  me happy. It is nice to have good memories.

Sorry, I forgot to uplooad it as a video.

Queen Size Diamnd Quilt

I finally finished a queen size quilt for my niece and her husband. Queen size is very difficult to handle  especially if you have a small house. I do have a cutting table, that I bought at Joannes Fabric store, during a 50%  off sale.  It is a big help, but not nearly large enough for this size quilt. With the help of a couple of small tables, and a chair, I was able to do it. I had recently hurt my shoulder, and that made it difficult to handle all that materiel and fiber filling., alone. With a lot of patience and a few cuss words, I finally finished.

I really thought it was much too big for the bed,as it loooked so huge. When I saw it on their bed, it fit just right. Their cat really approved and took no time in settling down on it for a nap. I keep saying that is the last one I will make, but I really think, this is it.
I am  showing one picture of it in progress.,and a finished project.
